Here is the last round of products I used during my 30 Day Makeup No Buy Challenge!
Colourpop Where The Light Is Quad: These eyeshadows were created in collaboration with the beautiful KathleenLights on YouTube. I used them for the first time last weekend and am in love! The pigmentation of all of them is great, and the texture is very soft. These are the first Colourpop shadows I’ve purchased and I’m definitely going to buy more of them!
Urban Decay Primer Potion in Sin: I love the original Primer Potion from UD and got this from a friend. I hadn’t used it in so long and when I did I realized it’s a lot nicer than I’d remembered. It is very luminous and works well under shimmery eyeshadows.
The Body Shop Born Lippy in Strawberry: I purchased this along with two other lip balms in different scents when I was living in London. The other day I decided to try this one and I realized the scent is the exact same as that of the Strawberry Kiwi Comet Lip Smacker that I was obsessed with in elementary school! Probably the greatest discovery I’ve made so far this year, I kid you not. The texture is also very glossy, but it still moisturizers the lips well.
MAC Lipstick in Fleur D’Coral: This is a coral nude lipstick with a lustre finish. It was more pigmented than I expected upon first use, and wasn’t too light for my skin tone. I can see it becoming the nude I gravitate towards this summer.
Sleek Contour Kit in Light: This is another product I purchased in London. I used the bronzer side to contour my face. It was very pigmented, easy to blend, and, color wise, natural looking.
Now that my 30 day no buy is over and I stuck to the rules, I can purchase makeup again. I learned a lot during the past month. Abstaining from buying products actually wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be. I got to see what I owned and discovered a lot of stuff I had not used. Who knows, maybe I’ll do it again this year!
