Here are the products I rediscovered or used for the first time in weeks 2 and 3 of my makeup no buy:
-Colourpop Lippie Stix in Cake: Such an amazing coral pink lip color. The staying power on this was so great, I ate brunch with this on and it wore for many hours after that!
-Too Faced Shadow Insurance: I am usually an Urban Decay Primer Potion kinda girl, but I actually like this just as much. I will definitely be reaching for this more.
-Wet N Wild Shimmer Palette in Rosé Champagne Glow: I’m OBSESSED with the other WNW Fergie highlighter in the shade Hollywood Boulevard and decided to pick this powder up to see if it was just as good. It’s a pretty rose pink color and is a good alternative for Becca’s Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Rose Gold. It’s not as soft as Hollywood Boulevard, but it’s still nice.
Sugarpill Sparkle Baby eyeshadow in Candy Crush: I used this eyeshadow over a mint green eyeliner and it gave me the perfect pastel eye look. The texture is soft and it’s very pigmented.
-NYX Matte Lipstick on Hippie Chic: This lipstick is definitely one I will be reaching for this summer. It’s a gorgeous coral that looks amazing on my tan skin, and it wears well without being too drying.
-NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk: I have had this for a long time. This is something every person should have in their collection. It’s perfect for brightening up any eyeshadow, specifically pastels. It is also great for grabbing onto chalky shadows because it’s a bit sticky. This helps build them up and makes them more opaque.
-LA Girl Lip Paint in Peony: I wore this over the NYC Hippie Chic and it made it smoother on my lips and glossy. These glosses are awesome, plus they are minty!
-Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Blushed Copper: I used this as a blush and FELL IN LOVE. It is a gorgeous rosy copper color and the shimmer doesn’t look frosty of the cheeks.
-Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation: I love this stuff. During the day I usually wear BB cream, so I don’t really reach for foundation. I picked this up the other day and was so pleased with it, as I always am.
-NYX Eyeshadow in LOL: I used this in my crease and it is so great at blending out other shadows I use in my crease afterwards.
-Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette: I got this recently and am obsessed with it. I used Incandescent Light, which is the middle shade, and it gave my cheekbones such a beautiful glow. I plan to use the other two in the coming days.
-Wet N Wild Eyeshadow in Penny: This shadow is a pink copper color. It’s perfect for summer, and has great pigmentation. Plus it cost $0.99!
